Curly Fro Starter Kit

I recently had the opportunity to try products from the 'CurlyFro' natural hair care line.

I did a complete wash routine only styling with Curly Fro's Starter Kit products.

Included in the Starter Kit is:

Hot Oil Treatment
Moisturizing Shampoo
Sheaveryday Styling Pomade
Lock-In & Shine Oil

Step 1:  Hot Oil Treatment:

I first added the hot oil treatment to my hair, as a pre-poo and sat under the dryer for thirty minutes.  It left my hair very soft following and I was able to easily detangle my hair afterwards.  I also used some conditioner for added slip.

Step 2:  Moisturizing Shampoo:

Next I followed with the peppermint moisturizing shampoo, and the tingling of the peppermint on my scalp was nice touch.  My hair felt clean afterwards and did not feel stripped.

Step 3:  Sheaveryday Styling Pomade:

Finally, I styled my hair using just the Sheaveryday Styling Pomade, in Pineapple Paradise.  It has an awesome scent, and was light and melted quickly in my hands!

Step 4:  Lock-In & Shine Oil:

I followed up by sealing my hair with the the Lock-In & Shine Oil.

My last step was to finish my edges with the Curls Passion Fruit Curls Control Paste.

Final Thoughts On Curly Fro Products

Overall, I think the Curly Fro line is a great option for natural based products.  They do not add chemicals to their products which is a huge plus in my book.  Their products are well made, effective and well thought out for the needs of our natural hair, not to mention the owner is natural as well!  Did I mention that they smell terrific?

In this day and age, I think it's super important to support small businesses that create products for our needs and that are honest in their production and ingredients they use.  I highly recommend giving Curly Fro products a try, and when you do, let them know LP Share sent you! 😉
