My Twist Out Using Cantu Shea Butter Products

That moment you realize there are no ingredients in the house to make your own products!  Cantu Shea Butter products to the rescue!

This has happened to me too many times, simply because I wasn't paying attention.  For that reason I always keep an alternative set of products on hand so that my hair can hold out until my shipments of ingredients arrive.

In this case I pulled out my Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioner & Cantu Shea Butter Coconut Curling Cream.  I knew they would come in handy 😉

So I am sharing my signature twist out results along with my favorite solution to keep my edges in check, a front flat twist!

Cantu Product Review & How I Get A Huge Afro!

I have used Cantu Shea Butter Leave In a few times before and it is decent stand in leave in for me.  If you're not careful and use too much, your hair will have white residue leftover.  In my experience, it works better with an added styling cream.  If I use it alone with just oil after washing my hair, the products create a dull finish after a couple of days.

I like the Cantu Shea Butter Coconut Curling Cream as an option to add moisture and Shea butter cream to my hair at the same time.  This curling cream has water in it, so it saves me a step.  I can usually go a few days without re-applying the product and like the definition of my styles using it.  For this session, I'm glad I had something on hand to get my hair done in a pinch!

One of the best parts about my signature twist out style ,the older it gets, the easier it is for me to get a huge Afro just by stretching my natural hair a bit.  Watch my video showing the results along with how I get my huge 'Fro by Day 4!

Pretty Good In A Pinch

I will always favor the results I get by making and using my own natural hair products.  This is because I don't experience the build up and 'white stuff' left behind from this line of products.  However, when you need an alternative, I'd say Cantu Shea Butter products are an economical solution and gives pretty good results for me as a back up.

Have you tried Cantu Shea Butter products?  What is your experience?
